Hummus
Everyone in
my family loves hummus. We eat it with fresh vegetables as a dip,
spoon it into pitas, and even use it as an ingredient for sandwiches.
2 cans of chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1/4 cup of tahini
1/2 cup silken tofu
4 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 Tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup green olives, drained
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
dash of hot sauce
Put all ingredients in a large food processor.
Add water gradually as you
combine the ingredients until the mixture is smooth.
Just add a little
bit of water or else the mixture will be too thin.
You want it as thick
as pudding.
