Hannah's Hot Pick
Flip Video Camera

I'm not one for technology. All during high school, I though "AV" was just another word for "geek." I still don't know how to operate the remote control for our television. So when it came time for me to try out a video camera, I was a terrified. The thought of buttons, cords, and (shudder) how-to manuals was enough to make me break out in a cold sweat. So, it was with furrowed brow and shaky hands that I pulled my Flip camera out of its box.

However, I put the batteries in, turned it on, pushed the little red button, and...recorded my first video. It was almost too easy. I tried it again. It worked again. I had just made two videos. Could it be?

I shrugged it off. 'Sure,' I thought, 'it was easy to make a video, but how do you get it from the little camera to the computer?' I pushed the little button, stuck the camera into my computer, and there they were--the two videos that I just made. Yes, technology can be friendly, and it exists in the form of the Flip video camera. Now I take all of my videos with this little miracle worker. The quality is good; it's easy to use; and perhaps the best part of the whole thing--it's small enough to slip in my bag so I never miss a moment.

Check out my blog to see some of these awesome videos. I load up new ones all the time (now that I know how).
