Something happens when our little ones get to be teenagers: delirium sets in and our hair turns to straw--not necessarily in that order. I've noticed recently that my slick, shiny hair has become more like the dried out spanish moss that I use to make crafts. I love the volume; it's just the texture that I could do without (oh, and the gray, too).

I made the discovery of Dove Pro Age shampoo and conditioner a few weeks ago, and I love it. It seems to know my hair perfectly, moisturizing without taking away any of the volume. I also love it because of the stance Dove takes on aging. I have always loved my laugh wrinkles. They tell the story of my life and I wouldn't want to leave out a chapter. I have always loved my mother's hands, toughened and raw from scalding hot dishwater and plenty of diaper pin pricks. Now I see my own hands resembling hers. Aging is an adventure, not a death sentence. I love that Dove has picked up on this and now promotes aging as something to be enjoyed, not feared. Forget about ANTI aging. I'm joining Dove and going PRO age all the way!

And as far as the delirium? I still haven't come up with an answer. But, as soon as I do I'll be sure to let you know.
